Louis has over 16 years’ experience in Occupational Safety and Health risk management. He is also undertaking an MBA program and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety and Health (Honors), with numerous international qualifications. He is a member of a number of professional bodies, including the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health, both in the UK and South Africa and Registered as a Health and Safety Professional. In addition, he has delivered risk management training programmes and is a registered tutor for IOSH and NEBOSH accreditations.

Louis has a diverse range of experience in commercial and public organisations operating in multi-disciplined working environments with large heavy engineering and construction projects, MEIP, Petrochemical, Process Manufacturing Industry, Marine, Airport contracts, Mining and Smelting operations. He has successfully developed and implemented ISO management systems for varied organisations. He has investigated numerous high consequence incidents with significant organizational impact with the aim to provide support to organisations in reducing immediate and future incidents by identifying effective recommendations related to total incident management.

Paul is an experienced senior Occupational Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) consultant with 37 years of working experience. The past 30 years he has worked as a Risk and SHE consultant, auditor and trainer in a range of multi-national/cultural industries internationally. Paul is a certified lead auditor in OSHAS 18001 and ISO 14001. His experience includes multibillion dollar civil, structural, building, construction projects, major airports, constructing and commissioning of polyethylene plant, oil, LNG gas, petrochemical refinery, power generation stations, desalination plants, pipelines (on-shore and offshore), sulphur storage and ship loading facilities, as well as mining (open cast and underground).

Paul has excellent knowledge on international and local legislation, international best practices and standards. He can, as a professional, provide support in the implementation and assist in monitoring of SHE policies, programs and training, ensuring identification, assessing and mitigation of risk, preventing incidents/accidents/losses.
